Charles Darwin's theories of evolution and the origins of man changed the direction of modren thought. His publication 'On the Origin of Species' created an uproar in the scientific and religious communities alike. 2009 marks the 150th anniversary of this publication! His theory suggested that humans are not descendants of Adam and Eve - a belief held by majority on the basis o biblical accounts! Ever intruiged about the Islamic view point on this subject? MKA Northeast Region is hosting a Ta'leem Lecture on the topic 'The Darwinian Evolution & Islam' where our guest speaker, Dr Mohammad Iqbal, would give a talk and would take questions from the audience.
