MUSLIM YOUTH ASK FOR BLOOD

Press Enquiries: Waqar Ahmad Ahmedi 07966 089 338 press@khuddam.org.uk

Young Muslims are leading a campaign inviting members of the public to donate blood.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association has organised a session with the National Blood Service at the Fazl Mosque - London's first ever purpose-built mosque - on Gressenhall Road, Southfields, early in the New Year.
The youngsters will be handing out flyers and knocking on local residents' doors informing them of the event.
"Donating blood is a great and simple way of being of service to fellow human beings," said organiser Shiraz Sethi.
"It doesn't cost anything but could make a huge difference to so many lives."
The AMYA is working with NBS across the country to set up further locations to facilitate more donor signup from communities.
