Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

 

I hope and pray that you are well and in the best of health.

 

Currently, Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is in the midst of a Maal Ashra, hence I thought it appropriate to bring a few matters regarding financial sacrifice to your attention.

 

On Jan 9th 2009, in his Friday sermon, Huzur (atba) highlighted our responsibilities and rewards with respect to financial sacrifice. Huzur (atba) recited the following verse:

 

“As to the men that give alms, and the women that give alms, and those who lend to Allah a goodly loan — it will be increased manifold for them, and theirs will also be an honourable reward.” (57:19)

 

The Promised Messiah (as) elaborating on this verse has said that God does not need money, but He takes it upon Himself to reward those who make sacrifices in His cause to express His love for such people…Ahmadis should always be grateful to Allah, and it is a result of this gratitude that we progress in financial sacrifices despite the difficult economic situations.

Clearing any over-dues for Khuddam and Ijtema Chanda

I hope we will have your support, cooperation and prayers during this Maal Ashra. May Allah grant us the wisdom and strength to live up to the lofty but rewarding heights expected from us. Ameen.
