This year's Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK National Qaideen Forum took place on Saturday the 29th November 2008. Registration commenced at 9am where Qaideen were also given the updated MKA resource CD and a folder including printed copies of the material from the CD.
The opening session began at 10:00am with Tilawat by Mubarak Bhatti Sahib, Qaid of Earlsfield followed by Sadr Majlis leading the Pledge. Then Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya made his Opening Address. Following this there was a presentation by Motamid Majlis, outlining the changes to the Alm-e-Inami criteria for the year 2008-2009.
For the next part of the programme, the delegates were split into five different groups. Alm-e-Inami rankings from the previous year determined the first 3 groupings. Group 4 was made up of those Qaideen who had only just been appointed and Group 5 consisted solely of Local and Regional Atfal Nazimeen. Regional Qaideen were also allocated to groups at this point.
During the workshops discussion areas covered included suggestions and agreements on how to tackle issues a Qaid faces in his Majlis. Mohtamimeen used these sessions to clarify methods and processes they would follow when giving information to the various Majalis. Informal discussion took place between the members of workgroups.
The forum then reconvened in the Tahir Hall for two presentations. The first was by Sadr Majlis on the Role of a Qaid. The second was by Mohtamim Ishaat, Nadimur Rahman Sahib on the department's objectives for the year. Following these presentations, the forum broke for Zuhr and Asr prayers and then lunch.
During lunch, presentations were made by Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK to a selection of members who would be joining Majlis Ansarullah in the coming January, had shown great dedication to Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya and the Jama'at over the previous years. The members included Qamar Ahmad Mirza, Javed Haider Hameed and Abdul Azeem Janjua. There was also a brief speech from the previous Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK, Mirza Fakhar Ahmad Sahib.
The workgroups then reconvened at their respective locations. This continued until Maghrib prayers at 4:15pm. After Maghrib prayers there were presentations in the Tahir Hall from Mohtamim Talim, Kalim Tahir Sahib, Mohtamim Tarbiyyat, Dr Shirjeel Tahir Sahib and Mohtamim Maal, Mubashar Ahmad Sahib.
The final session then commenced with Tilawat and translation recited by Kalim Tahir Sahib, Mohtamim Ta'lim UK. Motamid Majlis then gave the event report which was followed by a faith-inspiring Keynote Address by Sadr Majlis. The event concluded with silent prayer and dinner followed by Ishaa prayers.
