This evening, following elections at the Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK Majlis-e-Shura, it has been Huzur Aqdas(atba)'s will to approve the appointment of Fahim Anwer Sahib as Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK. It is an institution of the highest order and one that Sadr Majlis has been dedicated to his whole life.

Sadr Majlis considers that the challenges for Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya are pressing and essential. They are challenges that do not wait and are increasing by the day. Islam is under more scrutiny than ever before and our duty is to stand as defenders of Islam and the glory of Allah, His Unity, His Prophets and His Khulafa.

We will not be able to fulfil the obligations of our pledge, the conditions of bai’at or the trials faced by the followers of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) and his most devoted follower, the Promised Messiah (as), without the benevolence, mercy and blessing of Allah. We must continue to seek Allah’s graces through determined and heartfelt prayer. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an, “Pray unto me; I will answer your prayer” (Ch.40:V.61). Sadr Majlis has humbly requested all members of the Majlis for their heartfelt prayers, that he is able to discharge this huge responsibility to the best of his ability and that he is able to retain the honour and pride of our great Majlis. Sadr Majlis has expressed that he is extremely indebted to Sabik Sadr Majlis for his tremendous work over the last two years. He has been an inspirational role model and Sadr Majlis prays that Allah, the Most Gracious, showers His blessings upon him and his family. Ameen.

May Allah grant us the capacity and vigour to be foremost in His service and that of His Khalifa (atba). Insha’Allah.Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V (atba) has graciously appointed Fahim Anwer Sahib as Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK. The announcement was made by Maulana Ataul Mujeeb Rashed Sahib, Imam of Fazl Mosque, following the election for Sadr Majlis at the 22nd Majlis-e-Shura on Saturday 23rd October 2010 at Islamabad, Tilford. May Allah bless this appointment and enable the Majlis to reach new and greater heights under his leadership, Ameen.
