Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is taking to the streets of London this Saturday 30th October 2010 and Monday 1st November 2010 to help raise much needed money for The Royal British Legion through its famous Poppy Appeal.

 

The initiative, which has been arranged by the Khidmat-e-Khalq Department, will encompass collections at all Zone 1 train and tube stations in the city of London. A number of regions are actively engaging their Khuddam in this calendared event and strategically placing their volunteers at various stations to maximise their fundraising. This is a fantastic opportunity for our members to engage in collecting for the Poppy Appeal, which provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served or who are currently serving in the British Armed Forces, and their dependents.

 

A total of 280 Khuddam will be assisting over the course of the two days, with all funds being raised going towards our overall collection for the Charity Challenge 2011, which is scheduled to take place in the Midlands region in May next year.
