On Friday 24th September, The local MP Rt Hon James Morris, Member of Parliament representing Halesowen and Rowley Regis, visited the Baitul Mahdi Mosque in Birmingham West. The informal visit was intended to give an introduction about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.  Respected MP James Morris was invited by Thauban Mwanje Sahib, Regional Nazim Tabligh MKA Midlands.

 The visit attracted the local media. Our local newspaper, the ‘Halesowen News’, came to cover the visit. The Rt Hon James Morris was accompanied by his private secretary. She commented "I have visited the Ahmadiyya website which was forwarded to me by Toby and I was impressed to see how beautiful a message you spread of peace."

Rt Hon James Morris MP was presented with a copy of the Holy Qur'an by local President Dr Masood Majoka Sahib, followed by refreshments. Mr. Morris promised to keep constant relations with the Birmingham West Jama’at.
