Tahir Region Registration Team in Action at the Charity Challenge 2012

Khuddam from Tahir Region were given the responsibility of Registration at the Charity Challenge. This year, the number of participants were over 3000, compared to last years figure of up-to 1000 (Only Khuddam event). By the Grace of Allah, the task was managed and completed successfully.

The Epsom and Ewell Khuddam was blessed with the presence of Imam sahib of London Mosque. The event was attended by both Khuddam, Atfal as well as eager Ansar. By the Grace of Allah, the Khuddam and Atfal found the event very interesting which increased their religious knowledge.

On Sunday, 29th January 2012, Sheffield Qaidat held their second Ijtema at Baitul Afiyyat Mosque. Khuddam came for Registration at 9:00 am. By the grace of Allah 30 Khuddam out of 37 attended this Ijtema. In the morning Khuddam took part in the Sports Competitions. In the afternoon, Academic Competitions took place and Khuddam enjoyed an interesting and brilliant day at the Ijtema. This Year we was honoured with the Presence of Naib Sadr MKA UK Mirza Waqas Ahmad Sahib. This day was concluded with Final session and Du'a.

29 April - Tahir Region Atfal Attended a Regional Education and Fun day

On Sunday the 29 April at Baitul Futuh, Tahir Region Atfal attended a regional education and fun day. It was a new format for regional classes and turned out to be a huge success with 29% of Atfal attending on a rainy day. Everyone including the organizers had a lot of fun and enjoyed the half-day event. It started at 10am and finished at 2pm with Zohr Salaat. The Atfal played games and had a team quiz along with an interactive learning system. The teachers Mubashar Khan sahib and Mashud Ahmad Sahib, as well as Daniel Lone sahib (Games coordinator) used their laptops and projectors to show interactive slides and make learning and games visual and fun. The Atfal were served fresh fruit, crisps and soft drinks. The event was closed by an address by Naib Sadr MKA Najm Khan sahib who encouraged the Atfal to collect sponsorship and participate in the Charity Challenge on the 13th May. All the Atfal attending said they loved it and said what a great time they had. Everyone left having gained many valuable religious and moral lessons furthering their knowledge.

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Sheffield participated in Yorkshire Regional Tree Planting exercise in Sheffield. This event was arranged through in liaison with the Sheffield City council, Parks and Countryside section. The site selected was Graves Park, which is one of the oldest historical parks in the city and is currently also a home to an educational farm. This park is also a part of the “Big Tree Plant” scheme across the country.
