MKA Islamabad Regional Khuddam and Atfal Ijtema was held on 23rd April 2017 in Jamia Ahmadiyya UK.
This year’s Regional Khuddam and Atfal Ijtema was held on 23rd April 2017 in Jamia Ahmadiyya UK, with a total attendance of 73% of Khuddam and 84% of Atfal.
Tahajjad prayer was held in Jamia, Crawley, and Aewan-e-Mahmood (MKA Office in Farnham) on the day followed by Fajr Salat and Dars ul Quran.
Proceedings of the formal opening session started at about 9:00 am which was chaired by Mohtamim Taleem Abdul Quddus Arif sahib. After Tilawat, Pledge, and Nazm, Regional Quaid sahib welcomed all Khuddam and introduced programme of the day. This was followed by opening address by Mohtamim Taleem Abdul Quddus Arif sahib who delivered a very moving and very inspirational Address that was woven around the theme of the ijtema “The Holy Quran”.
After the opening session, Khuddam started Academic competitions where 2 parallel sessions were held in order to maximize Khuddam participation. Throughout the day, we had a very interesting Observation / Memory test that ran in a separate room. In addition, a Rishta-Naata Hot desk as well as Sanat-o-Tijarat Hot desk was also setup. Just before lunch, two talks were given by Majlis Ansar Sultanul Qalam and Press / Media activities by Muavin Sadr Farhad Ahmad sahib and Muavin Sadr Sajid Zahid sahib.
After lunch, Zuhr and Asr Prayers which was followed by Question Time session which was conducted by Fattir Tahir sahib and the panel consisted of Regional Amir sahib, Amir Malik sahib, and Mubashir Zafri sahib. This continued up until 4 pm.
Khuddam then proceeded to the fields for various sports competitions. At about 6:30 pm, some refreshments were served and then Khuddam gathered back in the Assembly Hall for final session.
The closing session started at about 7:00 pm which was chaired by Sadr Majlis Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmad Sahib. After Tilawat, pledge and Nazm; ijtema report was presented by Nazim-e-Ala Regional Ijtema Hazik Rehman sahib and thereafter respected Sadr sahib distributed prizes. Thereafter, Naib Sadr Okasha Badr sahib addressed the Khuddam very briefly from the perspective of National Ijtema. Finally, Sadr sahib delivered an inspirational closing address and then concluded the Ijtema with silent prayers.
