On 19th February 2009, Qaid Majlis Worcester Park and Nazim Khidmat-e-Khalq (Athar Naseer) organised a visit to a Residential Nursing Home for the elderly in New Malden. Fruits and boxes of biscuits along with Humanity First calendars, leaflets and information packs about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community were brought along and distributed both to the staff as well as to the residents.

The residents were informed about the history of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community around the world, as well as issues such as “The true meaning of Jihad”. The primary aim of this trip was to foster a better relationship within the local community and to display the true picture of Islam which is presented by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Insha'Allah other institutions of this type are being targeted for the future.
