In early February Baitul Futuh Qiadat contacted Mosque Qiadat to discuss the idea of holding a joint event at Fajr time at the Fazl Mosque. The main objective of this was to encourage Khuddam from both qiadats to offer Fajr Salaat in congregation and, in particular, to attend prayers led by Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih (atba). Mosque Qiadat very kindly agreed to host and organise the event on 20th February 2011, consisting of congregational Salaat followed by breakfast.
On that morning, as Khuddam gathered at Baitul Futuh from around 5.20am to leave in groups for Fazl Mosque, Khuddam from Mosque Qiadat were busy preparing for the event. Altogether 32 people from Baitul Futuh reached Fazl Mosque for Fajr Salaat at 6am. After Fajr followed by Dars, the Khuddam participated in Qur'an class during which the Holy Qur'an was recited to a teacher with a focus on correct recitation. This lasted about 20 minutes, after which Khuddan were invited to the dining room where Qaid Majlis Mosque personally welcomed all the guests. Mohtamim Ishaat Muzaffar Bhatti Sahib led all present in Silent Prayer.
Following this, Khuddam from Mosque Qiadat served the traditional and delicious "Nihari" to the Baitul Futuh delegation. The number of guests were much more than expected but Alhamdulillah the arrangements were plentiful and nobody was left disappointed. In a very happy environment everybody mingled in and enjoyed their breakfast. After that tea was served. 18 Khuddam from Mosque Qiadat organised this breakfast.
After breakfast Khuddam from the two Qiadats had a memorable group photo taken in front of Fazl Mosque. Attendees at the event included Mohtamim Muqami and Baitul Futuh regional Nazim Tarbiyyat.
This event helped build relationships between Khuddam from both Qiadats and to strengthen the bond of brotherhood between the Khuddam.
