Tahrik-e-Jadid

Tahrik-e-Jadid: A stepping stone to the establishment of the new world order, by Inamullah Khan.

What is Tahrik-e-Jadid (New Dedication)?

Tehrik-e-Jadid is a blessed institution, which was initiated by Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) under divine inspiration and guidance. The foundation of the scheme was announced on 23rd November 1934.

What is its purpose?

Tahrik-e-Jadid’s sole purpose is to spread Tawheed (oneness of Allah) throughout the world.

The purpose of launching Tahrik-e-Jadid is to acquire such a fund with which Allah’s message can be delivered as far as the corners of the earth with ease and facility.”  Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra)

Why was Tahrik-e-Jadid Started?

In 1934, a group called Majlis-e-Ahrar began a wave of opposition against Jama’at Ahmadiyya. The movement and its leader, Ataullah Shah Bokhari, declared that they would not rest until they had wiped the Jama’at off the face of the earth. In response to the agitation, Hadhrat Musleh Maud (ra) said:

I see the earth slipping from under the feet of Ahrar. They say they will wipe out this Jama’at, but Allah Almighty has told me of a plan with which the Jama’at will spread in all countries of the world and no one will be able to destroy it.”

What does Tahrik-e-Jadid cover?

  • Mosques – over 10,000 world-wide and increasing by the grace of Allah
  • Fazl Mosque was the first mosque to be built in London (through the sacrifices made by the women in India, most of whom gave all of their jewellery for this cause)
