As part of the ongoing Khidmat-e-Khalq programme in the Gillingham Qiadat, links had been formed earlier in the year with the local branch of Save the Children , a charity that has been connected with the Jama'at for a number of years.

On Saturday 27 February, 10 Khuddam participated in a charity collection outside the local Tesco store. Each pair of Khuddam undertook a two hour shift, which ensured a Khadim was on site from 8am right through to 6pm.

A total of £285.14 was collected on the day which was an excellent effort by all involved, Masha'Allah.
