MKA Midlands Regional Fun Day

Alhamdulillah, on 15th August 2009, Midlands region organised a Regional Fun Day at Darul Barakaat Mosque where approximately 00 Khuddam and Atfal participated. The day started with various sports and activities including football, cricket, badminton, tug of war, table tennis and a martial arts exhibition.
In this BBQ, following Qiadats took part to organise:
Birmingham Central
Birmingham East
Birmingham West
Walsall
These activities were followed by Salaat, after which a short Dars was given by Zafar Bhatti, Qaid Leamington Spa, and a short welcome address by Regional Qaid, Bilal Bhatti. After this, we arranged for a barbeque lunch for the whole region.
The event was very well received by all who participated an we plan to hold further events like this in the near future Insha’Allah.
