On 11th December 2009 at 3:45pm, I set out with a Nasir Sahib to meet with our local Member of Parliament, Mr Ian Pearson, MP for Dudley South.

The meeting started with an introduction of myself and a member of the Jama'at who accompaned me for this noble and blessed endeavour.

We introduced the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to the MP and his personal secretary who was listening very attentively. Furthermore, we elaborated on our global objectives and mentioned that the leader of the Community, Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih (atba), addressed the House of Commons last year. Mr Pearson was impressed by what we had to say and inquired from me personally if I lived locally.

The session lasted for approximately 15 minutes.
