Qura'an and Jama'at literature display at Oadby Library, Leicester

Inter-faith week was celebrated in England from 21st to 25th of November 2012. To mark this celebration, religious literature displays were organised by the management of the Oadby Library, Leicester, in which the Jama’at was granted the chance to be part of.

The Jama’at display included the Holy Qur'an, posters with Qur'anic messages, Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam and free brochures and leaflets for the public.

An average of 20 people per day acquainted themselves with the display materials. Members of the Leicester Tabligh team monitored the display with help from the Library staff. Unfortunately there was no opportunity to hold Question and Answer session, however, would Insha’Allah in the future make any necessary efforts for such a facility.

Other religious displays during this inter-faith week celebration were from Hinduism, Sikhism and Christianity. Positive remarks were received from the public.

Many thanks to the management of Oadby library.
