A Dudley football club is celebrating after recruiting a local volunteer and netting £50 in the process. Kewford Eagles Football Club Under 12s South found a helper thanks to the Dudley Volunteer Centre and got the £50 as an extra incentive. Thauban Mwanje (Regional Nazim Sehat-e-Jismani Midlands) decided to volunteer because he is keen to provide activities for young people in his community. But it’s been twice the reward for Toban as he is now completing a coaching qualification with the experience he is getting as a volunteer.
Birmingham West Qiadat Trip 2010 - Malvern Hills

On Sunday 20th June 2010, Birmingham West Qiadat organized a trip to Malvern Hills. The attendance was tremendous, more than we expected. Atfal also accompanied us on this picnic. For Atfal there were exercise session were they had to do a circuit up the hill and back down, they also took part in academics which were carried out by local Qaid Sahib, Mirza Muzaffar Sahib. This was then followed by a BBQ which Alhamdulillah went exceptionally well. During this wonderful outing we encountered contact with a white male who was really excited with our community.
