On the 4^th of September 2011 MKA Birmingham West organised a charity sports day and dinner at Bait-ul-Mahdi Mosque. Football and Volleyball matches were held at Bearmore park Cradley heath. Amongst the guests present on the day were 7 local police officers and 3 local neighbours. The program started at 12 noon with volleyball where the Khuddam played against the local police, then Khuddam played a football match with the police. Atfal were also at the forefront in the field playing football with other local non-Ahmadi youngsters and also helped in raising hundreds of pounds for MKA CC. The sports session was followed by Zuhr Prayers. After this, there was the concluding session and the charity dinner. The local police were also awarded medals from MKA Birmingham West. Alhamdulillah the event was very sucessesful and the purpose of this event was to encourage local Khuddam and Atfal to raise money for charity and to improve relations with the local police and local community.
