Ijtema was held at Nasir Mosque Hartlepool, it was the 3rd local Ijtema. We were blessed with the presence of our Regional Amir Mr. Bilal Atkinson sb.

Bilal Sahib has been a regular attendee of our local Ijtemas. Bilal Sahib took time out of his busy schedule and attended the whole Ijtema.
Mohammad Zafarullah sahib represented Yousuf Aftab sahib. Naseem Bajwa sahib travelled from Bradford to attend the Ijtema. Syed Hashim Akbar Ahmad attended final session.
The Ijtema started at 11:15 with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Ali Ahmad.
Hadith was read by Syed Taalay Ahmad. Sayings of The Promised Messiah (as) from the book “The Will” were read by Sheraz Kasi.
Khuddam pledge was followed by an address delivered by Qaid Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya Hartlepool. Qaid Sahib addressed his Qiadat about obedience, Tarbiyyat issues, Tehrike Jadid and Waqfe Jadid
We started with Atfal Academics. As we do not have enough Atfal to split Atfal into official groups, we divided Atfal into 2 groups one under 10 and one over 10.
For Recitation of the Holy Quran it was any Sarah from the last 10 Suresh of The Holy Quran for both groups. There was a draw for 1st position for under 10 year Atfal so two Atfal were Basil Faheem and Hannan Arshad. The 2nd position was given to Abdullah Ihsan Zafarullah and the 3rd position to Sammar Ahmad.
For Atfal over 10, 1st position was given to 2 Atfal because they both achieved same score, Asad Nadeem and Usman Omer, 2nd to Syed Adil Ahmad and 3rd to Tauseef Ahmad.
In Adhan competition, 1st position for under 10 was achieved by Abdullah Ihsan Zafarullah and the second position was achieved by Sammar Ahmad.
There were only two participants for Adhan. For over 10 year old Atfal, 1st position was achieved by two participants due to same score and the participants were, Harris Mansoor Ahmad and Syed Adil Ahmad. 2nd position was won by Usman Omer and 3rd by Touseef Ahmad.
In Nazam competition, for under 10 year old Atfal, two Tifal participated and 1st position was achieved by Sammar Ahmad and 2nd by Hannan Arshad.
For over 10, 1st position was achieved by Usman Omer and 2nd by Touseef Ahmad.
The final academic competition for Atfal in first session was Prepared speech. The topics for the speech were any one Khalifa from Khulfae Rashideen or any one Khalifa of Promised Messiah (as).
For under 10 year old Atfal only one Tifal had prepared a speech and he got the 1st position and that Tifal was Abdullah Ihsan Zafarullah.
For over 10 years old Atfal 1st position to Harris Mansoor Ahmad. 2nd prize was won by Adil Ahmad and 3rd went to Usman Omer.
After Atfal academics, Khuddam academics started.
For Recitation of the Holy Quran it was any 3-4 verses from Al-Baqra. 1st position was achieved by Abdul Faheem, 2nd position by Mohammad Talha and there was a draw for 3rd position due to equal score so 3rd position to Ali Ahmad and Sheraz Salam Kasi.
In Adhan competition, 1st position was achieved by Abdul Faheem, 2nd position by Mohammad Talha and 3rd by Khalil Ahmad Nasir.
In Nazam competition, 1st position for best Nazam was awarded to Mohammad Talha, 2nd to Abdul Faheem and 3rd to Ali Ahmad.
Final academic competition of First session was prepared speech. The topics for the speech were any one Khalifa from Khulfae Rashideen or any one Khalifa of Promised Messiah (as). There were only two participates for prepared speech. The 1st position was awarded to Syed Taalay Ahmad and 2nd to Ali Ahmad.
After Academics lunch was served and after dinner most of the Khuddam helped the organisers with tidying up and then Zuhr and Asr namaz were offered.
After food and prayers we started with a presentation by deputy regional Qaid Mohammad Zafarullah on behalf of regional Qaid Yousuf Aftab on Khilafat Centenary and its prayers.
Straight after the presentation Regional Missionary Naseem Bajwa Sahib addressed the audience about Khilafat and Khilafat centenary event and how we should live our lives abiding Khalifa-e-Waqat.
After Bajwa Sahib’s Speech moved on to the final academic competition of extempore speech. For Atfal 1st position was achieved by Sheroz Ahmad Malik, 2nd by Usman Omer and third by Abdullah Ihsan Zafarullah. For Khuddam 1st Position was awarded to Wadood Ahmad Daud, 2nd to Syed Taalay Ahmad and 3rd was a draw between Sheraz Salam Kasi, Ali Ahmad and Dr Salman Ahmad Karim.
Moving on to Sports competitions, for Khuddam we had Arm Wrestling and Table Tennis and for over 10 year old Atfal we had table tennis and for under 10, musical chairs.
There was an exhibition Table Tennis match Regional Amir Mr Bilal Atkinson and Regional Missionary Naseem Bajwa Sahib .For Atfal table tennis 1st position was won by Usman Omer, 2nd by Sheroz Ahmad Malik and 3rd by Tauseef Ahmad. For Musical chairs the winner was Abdullah Ihsan Zafarullah.

For Khuddam Table Tennis, the winner was Dr Salman Ahmad Karim and 2nd position to Sheraz Salam Kasi and 3rd to Shahab Ahmad Malik. For arm wrestling, the strongest person came to be Shahab Ahmad Malik, 2nd Ans Ahmad and 3rd was Mohammad Talha.
After the sports even, there was a prize distribution. Prizes were given by Regional Amir North East, Bilal Atkinson Sahib.
Ijtema report was presented by Qaid Hartlepool, Wadood Ahmad Daud. He announced that the attendance was, 18 Khuddam out of 21 and 1 guest Khadim, 13 Atfal out of 16 and 5 Ansar guests. All together 39 people attended the Ijtema.
Closing address was delivered by Chairman Mr. Bilal Atkinson Sahib, Amir Jammat North East of England. Amir Sahib talked about his conversion and the quality of Tabligh he received from Dr Hameedullah Khan and his wife. Amir Sahib instructed that to convert other to Ahmadi faith we would have to become one first by living what we preach. Whole address was inspiring and had a lot of motivation for new preachers. Amir Sahib then led in silent prayer.
Ijtema feedback was very good, Qaid sahib were pleased by the attendance and participation during the Ijtema.
