Macmillan Fundraising Session at Tesco

MKA Newcastle was asked to provide volunteers to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support on Sunday 14th February 2010 to collect at Tesco in Kingston Park, Newcastle. We arranged for our volunteers to arrive at Tesco at 10.00am. Five volunteers participated in this session.
 
Four volunteers started the fundraising session at 10:30am and one volunteer joined this session at 12:30pm at Tesco in Kingston Park, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. We collected the buckets and sashes from the Customer Services Desk at Tesco. We started this session with Du'a (silent prayer).

We were covering both entrances and we had two volunteers on each entrance standing with buckets.

 
We had a very successful and busy session. Shoppers were more than happy to donate for this noble cause.
 
The fundraising session finished at 4:00pm and all the buckets were returned to the Customer Services Desk. Special thanks to volunteers for sacrificing their time to volunteer towards this fundraising session.
