An interesting Amoomi Duty

Among the regular duties of protecting and guarding Baitul Futuh overnight, this duty was something different and somewhat interesting.

The Khuddam of Epsom and Ewell Qiadat were responsible for carrying out security duty at Baitul Futuh mosque. On the 25th of December, 3 Khuddam went to cover the mosque overnight. They sat in their own car and kept a lookout for danger. Whilst they did that they received a call from their Qaid Sahib who just called to make sure everything was going well. The Khuddam on duty reported back positively and just leaked to Qaid Sahib that they were slightly hungry but not too hungry.

The Khuddam then asked Qaid Sahib to come and join them for some company whilst they did their duty. Qaid Sahib then decided to go to the Mosque but also took a big bowl of Biryani and along with some soft drinks. Qaid Sahib arrived at the mosque around 2am and signed in at the reception. The Biryani was also given to the Khuddam at the reception who were delighted and enjoyed it. After clearing the reception, Qaid Sahib went to his Khuddam's positions and set up a dining table on his car's bonnet which consisted of Biryani, soft drinks, cups and plates. The Khuddam were very pleased and enjoyed a late night dinner as a group of friends.

Qaid Sahib stayed with his Khuddam until the end of the duty's shift and Khuddam were very pleased over this particular duty and by the grace of Allah the Khuddam had no issues throughout the night as always, Alhamdulillah.
