MKA Sheffield - MUSLIM YOUTH JOIN THE WELL WISHERS!

Members from Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) Sheffield has been out again to raise funds for the Well Wish Society on 1st March 2014.

The Ahmadiyya Youth and children volunteers from Sheffield and Rotherham travelled to Barnsley last weekend to support the Well Wish Society by raising funds through bag packing at Morrisons.

The initiative is part of the AMYA's National 'Muslims for Humanity' campaign in which its' volunteers are aiming to bring a smile to the vulnerable and less fortunate members of our society.

Mr Shahzad Ahmed Athar, local youth leader, said:

“Our faith based organization strives to live by its motto of 'Love for All, Hatred for None’. We aim to train our youth and children to make positive contributions to the society and shall continue our efforts to assist the vulnerable and less fortunate. We are grateful to all those who donated towards this cause.”

The ‘Muslims for Humanity initiative’ was started in order to actively demonstrate that Islam calls on Muslims to aspire towards becoming the very best members of society they can be.
