Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

 

As the unique spectacle of Jalsa Salana UK approaches once more, we are reminded of its profound blessings. Ahmadi Muslims from different corners of the earth converge at one and the spiritual fruit of thousands gathering together to glorify Allah and celebrate His praise reinvigorate the spirit within us.

 

This pious gathering was first held under the auspices of the Promised Messiah (as) at Qadian in December 1891 and it was to become the beginning of an annual display of an extraordinary unity which continues to elude many other organisation and communities and continues to confound the detractors of the Promised Messiah (as).

 

At this assembly, the Qur’anic passages that are melodiously recited, the poems that are beautifully harmonised and the words that are passionately spoken cause our hearts to be overcome by an intense desire to serve Allah and His great cause. And so, as we expand our friendships, engender our brotherhood and enhance our knowledge, we should avail ourselves of the distinguished opportunity to serve.

 

Whilst many of you have been approached and have taken steps to assume duties and responsibilities during the forthcoming Jalsa Salana UK, there are some who are yet to be approached or yet to come forward and share in the Divine blessings that come with service to the many guests of the Promised Messiah (as). It is for this reason that we have implemented a facility on our website for Khuddam and Atfal to sign up and offer their services for Jalsa Salana duties. Let me therefore request those of you who are yet to allocated any duties at Jalsa Salana to take a moment and fill out the brief online form at:
