Oxford Khuddam & Atfal visit essential services over the festive period

On Friday 27th December, members of Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya & Atfal ul Ahmadiyya raised donations from within the association and visited John Radcliffe Hospital, Fire Service Station and Police Station in Oxford.

We distributed hampers and presents to spread good-will and partake in the festive celebration as responsible citizens. The act was done in spirit of the teachings that Islam gives – to look after our neighbors, the sick and needy and to show appreciation for those who helps us and looks after society.

We were joined by BBC Radio Oxford and interviewed khuddam and children including Atfal and Nasirat who talked about why we do charity events and what it means to us. Their broadcaster also invited our Regional Khidmate Khalq Nazim over their morning show on Sunday 29th December for a telephonic conversation.

Alhamdolillah the event was a success which enabled the majlis to establish good contacts with the local community.
