Southall Khuddam Spring into Action with Multiple Community Service Initiatives
Alhamdulillah, Southall Khuddam have successfully completed a series of inspiring community service projects this spring, demonstrating their commitment to both their faith and their local community.
On Boyd Avenue, home to the beloved Southall Darus Salaam Mosque, Khuddam carried out a Spring Clean-up with enthusiasm and dedication. Volunteers came together to serve the neighbourhood, ensuring the surroundings of the mosque were clean and welcoming. May Allah bless all those who took part and accept their sincere efforts.
In addition to the clean-up, Southall Khuddam also embarked on a Tabligh leafleting campaign, going door to door around the area. Alhamdulillah, volunteers engaged in meaningful conversations with neighbours, introducing them to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, addressing growing concerns about global tensions and fears of World War 3, and sharing the calming guidance of our beloved Caliph, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (ABA), who continues to champion peace on the world stage. We pray that Allah blesses this humble effort and opens hearts to the truth.
Southall Jamaat also made a notable contribution by donating 40kg of presentable clothing to Oxfam Ealing, supporting those in need through sustainable giving. A heartfelt JazakAllah to the six Southall Khuddam who carried out marshalling duties at the Regional Lajna Ijtema at Baitul Wahid Mosque. From guiding cars to correct parking areas to respectfully assisting Lajna members and maintaining positive relations with neighbours, their efforts were appreciated by all in attendance.
Further extending their service to humanity, two Southall Khuddam stepped forward to deliver a £50 food donation to Hanwell St Mellitus Church. Essential food items were donated to support vulnerable members of the local community. Though a modest gesture, it had a meaningful impact. Special thanks to the three Khuddam brothers who ensured the smooth delivery of these donations.
The spirit behind these efforts is beautifully captured in the Holy Qur’an:
“You cannot attain righteousness unless you spend out of that which you love.” (Surah Aal-e-Imran, 3:93)
May Allah accept these humble services and enable us all to continue serving humanity with passion, humility, and selflessness
