
MKA Ewell Ijtema 2023
بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Ewell Ijtema Report is as follows:
By the grace of Allah the Almighty, Ewell Khuddam Ijtema 2023 was held on Sunday, 15th January 2023 in DanetreeSchool, Epsom.
We started Planning for this Ijtema beginning of December 2022. A letter for Dua to Huzur-e-Aqdas (aba) was sent to request special privately for the overall success and fulfilment of the objectives of the Ijtema.
The Ijtema Committee was formed and members were all informed of their roles before the regular meetings commenced. Our first committee meeting was held on 5thDecember 2022. A detailed project plan was created and meetings were held weekly, initially to discuss high level responsibilities, followed by detailed departmental plans andthe progress of these. We utilised Baitul Hamd Namaz Centre for such meetings for better collaboration and to aid productivity.
The venue and date was decided and the attendance campaign then kicked off 4 weeks before the ijtema, with a combination of social media, instant messaging and house visits with individually named invitation letters to help promote the event.
It was decided that due to recent lift of any such COVID and social distancing restrictions, this year the Khuddam and Atfal ijtema will be held jointly.
The event started this morning firstly with Ijtema committee offering congregational Fajr prayer in Baitul Hamd NamazCentre at 7 am. Following which the committee made their way directly to Ijtema site to set-up for the event. Ijtema then started at 9 am with Registration and Desi+Continentalbreakfast.
In the Opening session, we had a warm, opening speech by Naib Sadr MKA UK Tariq Hayat Sahib. He welcomed and thanked all khuddam and atfal for attending. He also reminded us why we are here, and how important the theme is (Salat – the delight of our eyes).
Following the opening session, the Academics started for Khuddam, covering Tilawat, Nazm, Azan, Prepared Speech,Extempore speech and Quiz. Sports competitions started in parallel for Atfal covering (Football, Dodgeball, Musical chairs and sprint race.
We then offered our Zohr and Asr prayers in congregation followed by Lunch where our ziafat team served a delicious meal of Biryani and kheer.
Khuddam then started their sports competition comprising of Football, Badminton, Sprint race and Press Up challenge whilst the Atfal moved over to academics competition consisting of Tilawat, Nazm, Azan, Prepared Speech, Extempore speech, Quiz and Atfal test.
The Theme for this Year’s Khuddam Year is Salat – The delight of our Eyes and To capture this theme and showcase it on todays’ event, we had Tariq Hayat sahibs opening address, the academics tilawat, nazm, speeches and quizzes which were all focused around the theme.
Following all the events being completes, our Concluding session was held and we had the honour to have National Secretary Tarbiyyat UK, Respected Nisar Orchard sb with us. Nisar sb chaired the closing session and delivered the closing address based on theme followed by Prize distribution.
Attendance of Khuddam was 46 out of 67 which was 69% of total Tajneed, Alhamdolilah
Attendance of Atfal was 19 out of 24 which was 79% of total Tajneed, Alhamdolilah
I would like to thank you all khuddam of our Qiadat for attending the Ewell Local Ijtema. Without each one of the attendees, this would not have been successful. A sincere Thanks to Regional Qaid sb for providing assistance in arranging venue and prizes. Finally, I also thank each and every member of the Ewell Ijtema Committee that worked tirelessly to make this event a great success.
