MKA Malden Manor Ijtema 2022

By the grace of Allah, the Almighty, Malden ManorKhuddam Ijtema was held on Saturday, 29th January 2022 in Baitul Hamd Namaz Centre Epsom under strict Covid safety guidelines. The sports competitions were held in Goals Tolworth in the afternoon.

This year’s theme of Ijtema is ‘Honoring Our Pledge’. Majlis Malden Manor has tried to reflect all their activities based on this year’s theme.

The Opening Ijtema ceremony started at 10:30 am chaired by Respected National Sadr Sahib (virtual). First was Tilawat with English translation and was recited by Khadim Fareed Chugtai, followed by Pledge led by Sadr Sahib. Then Sadr Sahib requested the various Qaideenincluding Qaid Majlis of Malden Manor to provide brief opening remarks. In the end, Sadr sb gave his opening speech, question & answer session and Dua. The session was broadcasted live via Teams, yet the Khuddam watched the session together physically.

Following Sadr Sahib’s opening ceremony, we promptly moved on to host academic competitions. The competitions were judged by Saeed Ahmed sb and Shoaib Nasir sb. The academic competitions included Tilawat, Azan, Nazm, Speech (prepared) and Team Kahoot Quiz.

Following the academic competitions, we read namaz in congregation. 

We then held the closing session which was chaired by MKA Naib sb (Luqman Bajwa sb). First was Tilawat by Fareed Chugtai sb, then Pledge by Luqman Bajwa sb, and Ijtema report was presented by Qaid Majlis Malden Manor. We then had our Prize Distribution. After the prize distribution, Luqman Sahib delivered his closing remarks and reminded all Khuddam about the importance and significance of the Bai’at.

Following this, Khuddam collected their lunch packed in plastic containers which was Bryani and Raita. In the end Khuddam were invited to participate in sports competitions in Goals Tolworth.

The overall attendance was 15 including 1 guest.
