بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

By the grace of Allah, the Almighty, Stoneleigh Qiadat held a successful Khuddam & Atfal Ijtema on Saturday, 28th January 2023 in Danetree Primary School, Epsom.

The event started with set up, registration and breakfast around 10.30am. The opening of the event was chaired by Tauseef Ahmad Sahib, Mohtamim Maal MKA and Regional Qaid Tahir Region, Haseeb Cheema Sahib alongside our respected Local Sadr Jamaat Lutf ur Rehman Sahib around 11:15am. The opening ceremony started with reciting a portion from the Holy Quran with English translation followed by Khuddam Pledge, Nazm, a brief welcome note by Qaid Majlis Stoneleigh and finally with an opening address by Tauseef Ahmad Sahib.

Following the opening session, we went into the programme and the following competitions for Khuddam and Atfal were held:
1. Academics, which included: Tilawat, Nazm, Adhan, prepared & extempore speech.
2. Sports, which included: Football, basketball, dodgeball and musical chairs just to name a few
3. Interactive Taleem quiz on the topic of Salaat

At around 13:30, we had Biryani and Kheer for lunch which everyone enjoyed and offered Zohr & Asr Namaz.

In the afternoon, we continued with the remaining competitions, followed by an interactive Taleem Quiz. On the topic of Salaat. 

The closing session was chaired by Haseeb Cheema Sahib and Jamaat Sadr Lutf ur Rehman Sahib which commenced around 17:00. Prior to the closing session, congregational Maghrib Namaz was offered.

The closing session started with Tilawat by Syed Eshan Ahmad– First Prize Winner in Tilawat, followed by Khuddam Pledge, Nazam by Waleed Ahmad – First Prize Winner in Nazam.  Following Nazam, Qaid Majlis of Stoneleigh, presented a brief Ijtema report followed by Prize Distribution. Prizes were handed out by Lutf ur Rehman Sahib to the competition winners.

Following the prize distribution, Haseeb Cheema Sahib then delivered his closing speech on the topic of Salaat and wished all participants.
