On the 27th of November 2022 the Northern Sports Day took place for both Khuddam and Atfal. This event was organised because of the absence of Sports in the National Ijtema due to the Queens passing. All northern Jamaats gathered in Bradford at a Highschool to take part in Football and Cricket tournaments.

Yorkshire took part in the Cricket tournament and also had two teams for the Football tournament. Yorkshire B which was comprised of both Senior and Young Khuddam had a strong start to the Football tournament as they won all their group stage matches. They then eased through the quarter finals to reach the Semi-finals. Unfortunately, in the Semi-final match Yorkshire B conceded 2 goals and before they could shift into the next gear and start the comeback, the match was over and so was their run in the Tournament.

Although Yorkshire didn’t win it does give a promising future for the team as this is the furthest they have come in a Football tournament. Not only that, but they have strong young Khuddam playing for the team such as Jamal Mahmood who scored 6 goals in the tournament.
