Congregational Tahajjud, Fajr & Khuddam General Meeting
Alhamdulillah, on Saturday, 7 November, MKA Sheffield & Rotherham held a Congregational Tahajjud programme at Baitul Afiyat Mosque, followed by Fajr prayers and a Khuddam General Meeting.
The programme commenced with Tahajjud at 5:15 AM, followed by Fajr prayers and the General Meeting. Breakfast was served thereafter.
During the General Meeting, Qaid Majlis briefed Khuddam on the upcoming 25 Years of Khilafat-e-Khamisa in 2028 and emphasised the importance of strengthening our spiritual foundations by focusing on the basics:
– Observing the five daily prayers.
– Offering prayers in congregation.
– Regular recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
– Offering Nawafil.
– Observing weekly fasting.
The meeting also covered the UK Government’s Be Ready campaign, encouraging everyone to maintain essential supplies for at least three days.
Furthermore, referring to the Friday Sermons of our beloved Huzoor Aqdas (aba), Khuddam were reminded of the importance of preparing for potentially challenging times by adopting a simple lifestyle and learning to manage with minimum resources.
It was also emphasised that Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is the backbone of the Jamaat, and we must strive our utmost to fulfil our pledge with sincerity and dedication.
Finally, the importance of paying Chanda regularly and fulfilling our financial obligations was reiterated.
Alhamdulillah, a total of 15 Khuddam attended, comprising 10 from Sheffield and 5 from Rotherham.
May Allah Almighty enable us all to act upon these important reminders, fulfil our responsibilities, and strengthen our spiritual connection with Him. Ameen.
