A Spiritual Reflection on Praying Jummah Behind Hazoor (aba)

Praying behind Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) is one such moment. It is not merely a prayer; it is a spiritual encounter, a renewal of faith, and a reminder of the living connection between a believer and Khilafat.

For all of us, offering prayer behind Hazoor carries immense significance. But imagine coming from a land where the thought of ever seeing the Khalifa with your own eyes feels impossible where distance, circumstance, and life itself make such a moment seem out of reach. Then, by the grace and mercy of Allah, you are granted the opportunity to stand in the same mosque, to hear the same khutbah directly, and to pray Jummah behind your beloved Imam. For one blessed hour, you witness what you once only dreamed of. Such a moment leaves a mark on the heart that lasts a lifetime.

By the grace of Allah, three Khuddam from Manchester South were blessed with this honour for the very first time. One came from Ghana, one from Nigeria, and one from Pakistan. Their excitement was so overwhelming that two of them could not sleep the entire night. They feared that if they closed their eyes, they might somehow miss this blessing. Their hearts were restless, yet full of hope.

One Khadim from Ghana called his Qaid Majlis late at night, requesting transport. He said he needed to pray behind Hazoor that he is suffering from some issues and the only cure he knew was to stand in prayer behind the Khalifa of the time, to pour his heart out before Allah in that blessed atmosphere. His voice carried pain, but also faith.

When these Khuddam finally prayed behind Hazoor, something within them changed. Their expressions afterwards were completely changed. They were confident, hopeful, and spiritually revived. They said, “Last night we were worried about our future and our problems. But today, after praying behind Hazoor, our hearts feel calm. We now believe that everything will be alright.” Such is the healing power of Khilafat quiet, profound, and life‑altering.

After Jummah, they were also blessed with the opportunity to meet Sadr Sahib and share their heartfelt experiences with him. Their journey concluded with Maghrib prayer behind Hazoor as well. They had travelled from 5 a.m in the morning, driven only by love, devotion, and the desire to pray behind their beloved Imam.
