MKA Greenford – Heathrow Duty Before Jalsa

From Friday 18th to Thursday 24th July, Greenford Khuddam carried out Heathrow Terminal 5 duty as part of Middlesex Region’s pre-Jalsa rota. Each day, six Khuddam were assigned—three from 5am to 3pm, and another three from 2pm to 12am. Across the 7 days, this added up to 420 man hours.

Khuddam made their way to the airport via public transport, often leaving home before Fajr. At the terminal, their responsibility was to welcome arriving guests and coordinate with drivers for pickups. They had to stay alert and organised, especially when unplanned guests arrived or transport arrangements changed last minute.

The duty required consistency, patience, and clear communication. Greenford Khuddam handled it well throughout the week, staying professional and focused.

May Allah accept their efforts. Ameen.
