MKA Scotland – Street Cleaning for a Cleaner, Kinder Community

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Scotland organised a dedicated Street Cleaning initiative to help keep local neighbourhoods clean, welcoming, and environmentally friendly.

Khuddam gathered in Baitur Rahman Mosque Glasgow to remove litter, tidy public pathways, and improve shared spaces used daily by families, commuters, and residents. The activity reflected the Islamic teaching that cleanliness is part of faith and demonstrated the Majlis’ commitment to serving the wider community.
Throughout the session, passers‑by expressed appreciation for the effort, recognising the positive impact of young volunteers giving their time for the betterment of the city. The atmosphere remained energetic and purposeful, with Khuddam working together in a spirit of unity and service.

This initiative forms part of MKA Scotland’s ongoing commitment to:
• Caring for the environment
• Supporting local communities
• Encouraging youth to lead through service
• Promoting cleanliness and civic responsibility
The activity concluded with prayers for the wellbeing of the community and for continued opportunities to serve.
MKA Scotland remains committed to building a cleaner, kinder, and more connected society through regular acts of service.
